Kathy Ruden Retires from NIPCO with 30 Years of Service
Thirty years to the day she began her career with NIPCO, Kathy Ruden turned off the lights in her office and bid her NIPCO family farewell. Kathy retired on April 24 from her position as Accounting Services Manager and is looking forward to a full slate of activities with her very busy kids and grands. Retiring just in time for “lake season”, Kathy is excited for time with family and friends at the Minnesota cabin that she owns with husband, Gary. She relishes the thought that her time there is no longer limited to weekends.
At her retirement reception, Kathy was asked if there was anything she would like to share with staff. Without hesitation, she responded, “It goes fast! I remember my first day at NIPCO so vividly. Enjoy each day.” NIPCO salutes Kathy and thanks her for her contributions to the cooperative. Happy retirement!
New Roles/New Faces in NIPCO Accounting/Finance
Lisa Ludwigs transitioned to the position of Accounting Services Manager, previously held by Kathy Ruden, who retired in April. Lisa has been with NIPCO since 2016 and served as NIPCO’s Plant Accountant.
Jodi Emerson, who began her employment with NIPCO on April 22, will fill the Plant Accountant position, vacated by Lisa. Jodi brings over 12 years of accounting experience to NIPCO, most recently with Jackson Recovery Centers, where she served as an Accountant for the organization.
