Since its founding, Northwest Iowa Power Cooperative (NIPCO) has existed for one clear purpose: to provide reliable, affordable power to rural Iowa—at the end of the line—when others would not. Born from cooperation, innovation, and shared responsibility, NIPCO has evolved alongside its member cooperatives, adapting to new technologies, generation resources, and system demands.

This logo refresh honors that legacy while positioning NIPCO visually for the next generation of energy leadership, infrastructure investment, and cooperative collaboration.

Our previous logo, introduced in 2008 during our 60th anniversary, served us well for nearly two decades. This updated identity ensures NIPCO remains visually strong, digitally adaptable, and aligned with our long-term mission. 

This is not a reinvention –– its a refinement of who we are.

LOGO USAGE GUIDELINES

MINIMUM SIZES

To maintain legibility: 

  • Horizontal logo - Minimum 2 inches wide

  • Vertical logo - Minimum 1.3 inches wide

  • N-Symbol - Minimum 1 inch wide

CLEAR SPACE REQUIREMENTS

  • Maintain a minimum of 0.25" (1/4") of clear space "air" around all sides of the logo.

  • No text, graphics, or borders should enter this area or partially cover the logo.

ACCEPTABLE USES

  • Cooperative member and affiliate communications

  • Sponsorship and co-branding

  • Economic development materials

  • Distribution member marketing

  • Watermarks and branded visuals

CO-BRANDING GUIDELINES

NIPCO logos may be paired with partner or member logos, including Touchstone Energy® co-branded logos provided:

  • Equal visual weight is maintained

  • Proper spacing is respected

  • NIPCO & Touchstone Energy® brand standards are followed
